Following the successful Leeds screenings of Skinhead Attitude and Punk Attitude this year we present American Hardcore. An uncompromising and explicit documentary focusing on the hardcore punk movement, from its early roots in 1980 to its extinction in 1986. Hardcore was more than music – it was a movement created by Reagan-era misfits who influenced all rock music and punk culture today. Featuring Henry Rollins, Flea, Bad Brains and the legendary Ian MacKaye all supported by phenomenal archive concert footage, American Hardcore is once again brought to life.

For trailers, clips and further info on the film, check out the official website: http://www.sonyclassics.com/americanhardcore/

Director Paul Rachman and writer Steven Blush will be attending both screenings.
There will be a Q & A session with them after the screening.
