Cinema Versa Live: lookandlisten AV party featuring Belleville Rendezvous and The Sundaze Collective

The dessert in this audio visual feast is a one off lookandlisten party that takes another look at music vs visual influences. Highlight of the night is a screening and live performance by Sundaze Synerma of their live soundtrack to animated classic Belleville Rendezvous. The performance features specially composed and improvised musical sections, alongside a mixture of DJ cuts. Looking at influences the other way around, the night also showcases Loka's album "Fire Shepherds". Recognising the potential visual crossover of the psychedelic soundtrack vibe of the album, the band cleverly ran a competition to produce video's for each track. Ours will only be the second screening of the end result. As with all lookandlisten nights there will also be a live dj & vj collaboration, along with an cut and paste audio/visual mix.
