Colour Me Kubrick
The Carriageworks: Main Auditorium
7th November • 6.30pm
John Malkovich is 'Being Stanley Kubrick' in this incredibly witty and entertaining movie based on the true life story of Alan Conway, a man who conned his way round London by pretending to be the world famous film director. Malkovich gives a remarkable performance in the central role – one moment the brash star, the next a painfully lonely nobody – and is sure to net many awards over the coming year. A pointed satire on the nature of celebrity that Kubrick himself would have been impressed by.
