'70s Communist era documentary meets Busby Berkeley musical in an outrageous conspiracy theory fuelled fantasy. Interkosmos outlines a secret East German space mission to colonise the moons of Jupiter and Saturn. Ace Short Film Director Jim Finn turns his attention to features and brilliantly counterfeits retro-socialist archive footage and swinging musical numbers to create a uniquely inventive movie, all blossoming from the original idea to immortalise the East German space mascot, the 'meerschweinchen' (guinea pig).
