Encounter Point
Leeds Art Gallery
11 November • 2pm
Encounter Point moves beyond stale and sensational images to tell the story of an Israeli settler, a Palestinian ex-prisoner, a bereaved Israeli mother and a wounded Palestinian bereaved brother who sacrifice their safety, public standing and homes in order to press for a grassroots movement for nonviolence and peace. The director will be attending for a Q&A after the screening as part of a facilitated debate around the issues raised in the film organized by the Together for Peace Festival.
In partnership with the Leeds-wide 'Together for Peace' festival (15-25 November; www.togetherforpeace.co.uk).
