Dust is a complete departure from traditional genres in biographical or ensemble non-fiction, exploring the infinitely big (war, pollution, economy) through the infinitely small. With its 0.1 millimeter diameter specks, dust stands at the limit of what can be seen with the naked eye. Dust is the main protagonist of the film and an exceptional guide through the contradictions of our time, although movies themselves are also made of grains, and therefore like 'a resplendent dust that shines in the dark of the theatre'.
