The Carriageworks: Main Auditorium

Based on this selection, Yorkshire has to be most exciting and innovative region for short filmmaking in the country. Settings include the psychedelic living room existence of Wesley in Armchair Anarchist, the gothic junkyard of Ironwerkz where a boy finds forbidden love with a girl from the outside world, and the lake of a local park in Seeds where an old man is giving names to ducks. The winning film will be announced at the end of screening and awarded a £500 cash prize courtesy of the competition sponsor ITV Local.
