Based around the myth of the 'vagina dentata', Mitchell Lichtenstein's extraordinary feature debut tells the story of Dawn, a high school student and avid participant in her school's purity campaign. Dawn is so innocent it is only by accident that she discovers that anatomically she is very unique! Her new found knowledge has physically devastating effects on the men she meets including her very aggressive boyfriend. Combining outright gore, social satire and freakishly dark comedy Teeth challenges our fears and phobias in a way that needs to be seen to be believed.
