In Washington in July 2005 a minor police case achieved national notoriety after a Seattle family man died following a shocking incident at a horse farm. Police discovered hours of videotape at the farm involving the activities of other so-called 'zoophiles' from around the world. Through his highly-acclaimed recreation of circumstances surrounding the story, Robinson Devour is neither graphic nor exploitative as he portrays the alienation of these men and the thresholds of acceptance with a remarkable visual poetry.
