Juan Antonio Bayona's debut made an incredible impact at its world premiere screening in Cannes earlier this year. Culminating with the director being carried on the shoulders of the film's producer, one Guillermo del Toro, to rapturous applause from an exhausted and overwhelmed audience. The film tells the story of Laura who returns to the beautiful but mysterious house where she was raised, and decides to transform it into an orphanage. Soon, her son, Simón, makes an invisible friend.....
