A stunning Iranian fable that smacks of Jodorowsky, Pasolini, and even 'Mad Max' all mixed up into its very own jaw-dropping style. A perpetually hungry man roams the desert trying to sate his appetite, but a tribe of sickle-bearers on horseback and motorbikes dictate over the land, punishing anyone who disobeys their commands (to sleep at all times) by burying them up to their necks in the arid land, decorating the desert with striking, live human heads.
