A fabulous black comedy! Francois discovers that when he puts on a certain face cream, people believe he's someone famous! But after having some fun, it starts to wreak havoc with his ego, his wife, and his civil liberty - not to mention that weird guy who keeps trying to steal it (with side-splitting consequences...). This excellent film is so utterly enjoyable and funny, and yet somehow, amidst the brilliant chaos and lunacy, 'The Cream' manages to make a really insightful comment about the desire to be and to have 'la crème de la crème'.
