After 14-year-old Lulu moves to a small town with her mother and younger brother, her brother is struck by a beam of light - the spirit of 19th Century witch-hunter Herman Hartmann. To her despair, Lulu realizes that her brother has become possessed and the two of them are whirled into a frantic adventure. Together with rich kid Oliver and clairvoyant-inventor Richard, they take on the supernatural forces that seem determined to take over their town – and the world!
