National Young Filmmakers' Award 2008

The quality of films entered for the 2008 National Young Filmmakers' Award was higher than ever and the jury had a very difficult time in deciding which films should win. But decide they did and we are happy to announce the winners in each age group:
Under 14 age category:
1st place - Laf Trac by Callum Hale-Thomson
2nd place - Skirmish by George Morris
3rd place - Life in Mayola by Avalon Hale-Thomson
15 -19 age category:
1st place - The Great Hat Heist by Lewi Firth Bolton
2nd place - Trivial by Will Lambert, James Hargreaves and Mark Smith
3rd place - Underground Village by Matthew Copson
The winners each receive £250 to go towards their next project, courtesy of our partner, ClipStar.
