Gorgeously shot amidst Vilnius’ roads at night, Low Lights is a staggeringly stylish and appealing film. Tadas and Vita are unhappily married, barely speaking to each other and living like strangers. One day Tadas meets an old friend who invites him to hang out - driving around in a car at night with the lights out...? At first Tadas is baffled but he soon understands the appeal, and they both fall for the allure of the mysterious night and the femme who inhabits it. A cinematic gift from Lithuania and a real pleasure to watch.
