A cult slice of American indie cinema with a macho sci-fi edge about friendship, flamethrowers, Mad Max, and getting your ass kicked by love. Two best friends, obsessed with modifying their car the Medusa and roaming the desert with flamethrowers ‘when the apocalypse comes’ are thrown into chaos when Woodrow falls in love with the dangerous Milly, who tears their world apart, spiralling the boys macho fantasies of cars and fire into a world of hate and extreme violence. Filmed on home-made cameras, its cinematography is as impressive in its DIY in its construction as the souped-up Medusa itself.

Please note that due to a fault with our website the incorrect time is listed for the screening on 11th November, the actual start time is 20:30.  Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause, we are working hard to rectify the issue.

This is a film about two boy’s who find that growing-up the hard way can be painful and revealing. Beautifully shot but the contemporary language of “Dude”, “Cool”, “Awesome” just became too nauseating to bear.
