Some things about LIFF never change! It’s back, and it’s trashier, gorier, and downright more horrific than ever. Night of the Dead is once again taking over Hyde Park Picture House for eight hours of gore, trash, shocks, laughs, scares, and the downright bizarre. The ever popular short films and games are back to add to the mayhem and don’t forget to bring your most appaling films to compete in the S**t Film Amnesty! For starters, we’ll be getting a bit too involved arguing about ‘who’d win in a fight between…?’ with the wrestling mayhem in the UK premiere of Monster Brawl, before wondering where exactly Blind Alley is going to lead us with its clash of trash, thriller, and…well, we don’t want to spoil it. Then we’ve got three for the price of one with the shocking mix of sex, gore, and violence in Little Deaths (trust us, these three couples will make any messed up relationship look normal), and of course, Night of the Dead wouldn’t quite be the same without Japanese splatter mayhem from Yoshihiro Nishimura! Now a yearly institution, with previous years’ screenings including Vampire Girl vs Frankenstein Girl and Mutant Girl Squad, you haven’t seen anything quite like Helldriver, as Nishimura takes on (wait for it)….zombies!
This event is now SOLD OUT.
