One of Britain’s best loved comedians, Paul Merton is appearing exclusively at Leeds Town Hall to host a special presentation of his Silent Clowns event. Celebrating the icons of silent cinema, Silent Clowns features the Harold Lloyd classic Safety Last! Plus Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton and Laurel & Hardy in hilarious extracts all introduced by Paul Merton and accompanied by world renowned pianist Neil Brand with the Prima Vista Social Club Band. Presented in the stunning setting of Leeds Town Hall, Silent Clowns will be a laughter-fuelled and family-friendly highlight of the year for fans of music, film and comedy.

While the films were great to see, no doubt, on the Big Screen, we felt a little let down by the lack of off-screen time by Mr. Merton.
