Presented in partnership with Leeds Asylum Seekers Support Network, The Refugee All Stars tells the amazing story of six Sierra Leonan musicians who face a daily struggle to keep their hope and music alive. Civil war in their home country forces them to live in a refugee camp in the Republic of Guinea, but despite their emotional and physical scars, The Refugee All Stars find a sense of purpose and a source of power in their incredible music. This inspiring film follows them over three years as they make their way from the refugee camp back to their homes.
