Golden Owl Award 2007 Severed Ways: The Norse Discovery of America -
This extraordinary film goes all out with its regressive strategies, doing as much as possible to achieve as little as possible.

A beautifully whimsical synthesis of bold choreography and technical inventiveness.
Best Animated Short Film Tyger - A sinister and glorious evocation of unstoppable force.

The 9th Leeds Young People's Film Festival is back for Easter 2008, from Thursday 27th March - Friday 4th April. with the best of the new films from around the world, moving-image workshops & masterclasses for young people of all ages and the National Young Filmmakers’ Award for young filmmakers.
