LIFF27 Audience Award for Best Film

We are very pleased to reveal the top 20 highest rated films in the LIFF27 Audience Award for Best Film so far. Retrospectives top 5

In addition to the LIFF27 Audience Award for Best Film, we can reveal the top rated Retrospective films screening at the festival. The list is lead by Masaki Kobayashi’s Harakiri – the first screening from a Retrospective of the Japanese master of cinema’s work to be shown at LIFF27. Rififi is at number two, and is just one film in our Classic Thrillers in Leeds Town Hall selection, which still has Le circle rouge, Peeping Tom, The Third Man – and a second screening of Rififi – to come.
