Christmas Film Festival (21-23 December) presents Monty Python’s Life of Brian

Monty Python’s almighty comedy classic Life of Brian completes the line-up for the newly launched Christmas Film Festival (21-23 December) on Monday 22 December, 6.00pm at Leeds Town Hall. The 1979 film features the original line-up of the comedy troupe, who made their farewell performances this year, including Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin. Here is a rare chance to see one of the funniest films ever made on the big screen. When Brian is born next door to Jesus on the same day, he spends the rest of his life being mistaken for the Messiah in this satire of Biblical proportions.

There really is something for everyone at Christmas Film Festival, which features a selection of films to get you in the seasonal spirit in the run up to the big day. Huge audiences will join together to enjoy special Sing-Along screenings of Disney’s Frozen. There will also be classic family favourites like Home Alone and Elf, the action-packed thriller Die Hard, and the film everyone loves to watch at this time of year – The Wizard of Oz.

Please click on the film titles to buy tickets online or call City Centre Box Office on 0113 224 3801: tickets are £7 full price / £5 concession.
