All the Extra Screenings at LIFF27

LIFF27 has announced a large variety of extra screenings since its programme launch, and here is a complete guide to all of the extra screenings which aren’t in the printed guide. They include new additions to the programme, repeat screenings and Film Festival Extra screenings, selected based on audience feedback and demand. Please click on the film titles for tickets.


Sunday 17th November

20:30  Filmage: The Story of Descendents / ALL  (Hyde Park Picture House, new addition)

LIFF27 and Recon present a revealing documentary about pioneering pop-punk group the Descendents, featuring interviews with the band, Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters), Mike Watt (Minutemen), and many more. The film traces the group from their roots in the early 1980s American hardcore punk scene.

LIFF27 presents an exclusive preview of one of the most acclaimed films of the year, featuring an astonishing performance from Robert Redford. Hailed as ‘Gravity at sea’, All is Lost is an open-water thriller about one man’s battle for survival against the elements after his sailboat is destroyed.
