Not For Rental presents Nightcrawler – Thursday 19 February, The Carriageworks

The next instalment of Leeds Young Film’s Not For Rental season of films for viewers aged 15+ takes place next Thursday, 19 February at 7.00pm with Nightcrawler. Jake Gyllenhaal is unforgettable in the lead role as the intense and driven Lou Bloom, a man who muscles into the world of L.A. crime journalism, blurring the line between observer and participant as he becomes the star of his own reality story. The film has been nominated for the Best Original Screenplay at The Oscars, so we’re presenting you with another chance to see it before the awards ceremony on February 22. Tickets are excellent value at just £3.00 each. 

Not For Rental bridges the gap for audiences between the viewing experience of Leeds Young Film Festival and Leeds International Film Festival. In collaboration with The Carriageworks theatre, we’re bringing a series of exciting, challenging and rarely seen films to the big screen. The programme features the best cinema from around the world, including documentaries and films covering everything from comedy to horror, action to drama.

Please note that all films start at 7.00pm, with doors open from 6.45pm. Tickets for all films are on sale now.
