LIFF26 Audience Award for Best Film

We weren’t sure that anything could beat Ernest and Celestine’s popularity in the running for the LIFF26 Audience Award for Best Film. First The Hunt (the new feature by Festen’s Director Thomas Vinterberg) came in ahead of it, but now another Anime is at Number 2 – Wolf Children. The programme has been incredibly well received with films in our Official Selection, Cinema Versa, Fanomenon and Retrospectives sections in strong competition with one another’s high ratings. A number of films have repeat screenings as Film Festival Extras, so please check our Film Festivals Extras post for details. They include The Hunt, Ernest and Celestine, Robot and Frank, War Witch, In the House, Beauty is Embarrassing, and Charles Bradley: Soul of America.
