The full programme for the 30th Leeds International Film Festival will be launched with a free event at the Hyde Park Picture House, on Thursday 6 October at 6.30pm. We are returning to the film festival’s original home for this special event to celebrate our 30th Anniversary, where you will be able to see a full preview of the films showing at LIFF30.
The free LIFF30 guide will be available from the Hyde Park Picture House on the night, and from Leeds Town Hall on Friday 7 October as part of Light Night Leeds. The full LIFF30 programme will also go live on leedsfilm.com on the evening of Thursday 6 November. LIFF30 will feature over 300 screenings and events taking place at 30 venues citywide, giving audiences an extraordinary and diverse film experience.
The Edwardian cinema the Hyde Park Picture House was one of the very first venues to host the first Leeds International Film Festival, which was launched by its volunteers in 1987. Other venues presenting the LIFF30 programme include Leeds Town Hall, Everyman Leeds, Vue in The Light, Left Bank Leeds, The Tetley and Belgrave Music Hall.
If you wish to attend, please visit Eventbrite to reserve a free ticket. LIFF30 Single Passes (£95) and LIFF30 Double Passes (£170) are now on sale and are exceptional value for money, giving access to over 300 screenings across 15 days.
