We Love Anime Day

The We ❤ Anime roadshow in partnership with Scotland Loves Anime, Uniqlo, Manga and Kaze comes to Leeds with a fantastic showcase of Anime films, old and new. LIFF Fanomenon favourites Redline and Summer Wars return, with the latter premiering in its English language debut. For Studio Ghibli and Hayao Miyazaki fans there is a screening of Laputa Castle in the Sky and the programme is rounded off with a preview of the new Trigun Badlands Rumble film.

Anime expert Jonathan Clements will introduce all the films and present his talk ‘Wrong about Anime’ before Redline which looks at the west’s relationship with Japanese animation. There will be prizes during the day for the best Cosplay outfits so make sure you come dressed up!

Passes for the day start at just £8 for young people under 19, £12 for an adult accompanying a young person or £20 for an adult (£16 consessions). Golden ticket holders can get a pass for HALF PRICE! The first 60 pass buyers will receive a goodie bag worth over £30 containing DVDs, Tshirts, books and more.
