Leeds Young Film Festival 2017 Winners Announced

18th Leeds Young Film Festival has been the festival’s most successful ever edition, welcoming record breaking audiences to venues across the city, with over 150 films and events taking place over 11 days.

The festival included Reel Kids at Hyde Park Picture House, with family favourites and brand new films from around the world; Animation Central at The Carriageworks Theatre, where families were invited to learn and play with top professional animators from LEGO, Minecraft and Disney; Leeds Town Hall’s annual Easter experience The Film House, this year inspired by Dr Seuss; and the UK’s first ever family-focused virtual reality event – the FREE VR Zone at Leeds City Museum.
