Leeds Young Film Festival is the UK's largest family film event where the whole family can watch,
learn and play together. Over 15,000 children and their families will be entertained over Easter, from 26 March - 5 April 2018, to explore the world of film, animation and virtual reality through screenings, live shows, workshops and drop-in events across the City in our four zones.

Now in its 19th year, the festival features a programme of the best new and unseen cinema for young people from around the world, made both for and by young people, as well as classic screenings, moving-image related workshops and masterclasses.

Leeds Young Film Festival will present the following over Easter weekend 2018 (Friday 30 March - Monday 2 April):

  • Animation Central at The Carriageworks Theatre will be home to four days of animation and digital storytelling, with films, masterclasses and workshops
  • A must-attend Easter experience in the City Centre
  • Virtual Reality Zone in Leeds City Museum and The Carriageworks, which will include a variety of family focused VR experiences

We need a range of dedicated volunteers to help in a variety of roles at this exciting event.

Please complete this form by Sunday 11 March, 5pm and then email a passport style photograph (a head and shoulders picture of yourself) to lyffvolunteers@gmail.com. We require the photograph for accreditation purposes as we are a child safe festival.
