We're delighted to be working with Sony Home Entertainment, to give away two bundles of newly released Blu-rays from The Criterion Collection's exceptional series of classic and contemporary cinema each month.
December's releases include:
- On The Waterfront, Marlon Brando gives the performance of his career in this 1950s crime drama. Winning 8 Oscars including best picture, Terry (Brando) must decide who his loyalty lies with, as the authorities begin to close in.
- La Jetee / Sans Soleil, Still considered two of the most influential science fiction films, and the influence for music videos and sci-fi films to date. Chris Marker's work challenges cinema with his investigations into time and memory combining stock footage, still image and narration.
- Now, Voyager, With an outstanding performance by Bette Davis' during the height of her reign, this 1940's melodrama is accompanied by Max Steiner's Oscar winning score and a star-studded cast to boot.
