The best value option for exploring the 30th Leeds International Film Festival is the LIFF30 Pass that gives you access to the entire programme for just £95. Save even more with a double pass, only £170 for two people.

Individual tickets

Individual tickets are £8.50 / £6.50 (concession*) for Victoria Hall, Hyde Park Picture House, Vue at The Light and Everyman Leeds, unless otherwise listed.

For all other venues, tickets are £6.50 / £5.50 (concession*), unless otherwise listed.

Many LIFF30 events are listed as free of charge.

Get 6 for 5 standard price tickets with the Discount Card. This offer excludes the following Victoria Hall events: 2001: A Space Odyssey, Napoleon, Paterson, and Toni Erdmann.

For marathon film events in Fanomenon, there is a special offer of £25 / £20 (concession*) for the whole event. This offer is available for the following Fanathon events in Fanomenon: Animation Day, Day of the Dead, and Night of the Dead. Alternatively, a Pass gives you access to all Fanathons.

*ID is required for concessionary rate: NUS, ISIC, over 55s, under 16s, registered unemployed, registered disabled, Leeds Card.

How to buy passes & tickets

Online: leedsfilm.com (50p charge per individual pass, offer or ticket).

Over the phone: 0113 376 0318 – lines open 10am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday (£1 charge per whole transaction).

In person: Leeds Town Hall, The Headrow, Leeds, LS1 3AD – entrance located at the front right-hand corner of the building. Open as for over the phone (no additional charges).

Passes and tickets purchased online or over the phone will not be posted out and they can be collected from Box Office up to the day before the event or from the event venue from one hour before the advertised start time.

How to reserve free tickets

When an event is listed as FREE, to guarantee entry we recommend you reserve your ticket(s) online. Reservations can be made via the page for the entry on leedsfilm.com: a link by the buy tickets button on the page will take you to an Eventbrite listing where you can enter your details and guarantee your ticket(s) if available. If for any reason you can’t subsequently attend the event, please cancel your ticket(s) so that they may be used by other customers.

How to cancel LIFF30 Pass tickets

If you have booked a ticket for an event with a Pass and for any reason you subsequently can’t attend, please cancel your ticket in person at the box office at Leeds Town Hall so that it may be available to buy for other customers.

Screening Information

  • Many of the films screened at LIFF30 are not in English language and have subtitles. Where films are subtitled the original language is usually the same as the country of origin.
  • Tickets booked by telephone or online will not be posted out but can be collected from Box Office up to the day before the screening or from the appropriate venue from one hour before the event / screening.
  • LIFF does not show trailers or adverts before films and where possible all screenings start at the time advertised: sometimes a member of the LIFF programming team or a guest will make a short introduction.
  • Most films in the programme have recommended certificates: please contact the festival office or city centre Box Office for advice on suitability.
  • Most films are projected in the DCP format: where a film is on 35mm or 16mm, this in indicated in the film listings.
