Digital Volunteers

Leeds International Film Festival has a range of different types of events, including screen talks, Q&As with festival guests and parties. We need volunteers to capture these festival moments on film and through pictures for use in future publicity materials and through our many social media outlets. We are looking for:

  • Photographers – As a festival photographer you will cover a range of screenings, Q&As and events. You will create a selection of photographs to be used in social media, publications and promotions for the festival.
  • Film Crews – We are looking for video production teams who can film footage documenting festival events. You would provide content to the festival’s video producer, enabling them to create videos about the festival experience. We are also looking for video production teams who already work together, including those with presenters who can interview festival audience members.
  • Social Volunteers – Our audiences like to be able to see what’s going on at all festival events in real-time. We are looking for volunteers who are comfortable at using both Instagram and Twitter, who are able to take photos of the action, and produce some snappy copy to describe what is going on, working with our Communications Manager to share it online.
