The screening will be followed by a Q&A with storyboard artist Jay Clarke who created the artwork for the film.

Award-winning auteur director Wes Anderson returns to the world of stop-motion animation following his Roald Dahl adaptation of The Fantastic Mr Fox with a stunning new story, set in a near-future Japan. The corrupt mayor of fictional city Megasaki has taken extreme measures to curb the spread of various canine diseases by exiling all dogs to a bleak remote island. When 12-year-old Atari arrives on the island in search of his beloved, long-lost dog Spots, a band of mutts led by battle-scarred stray Chief (Bryan Cranston) decide to help Atari on his mission.

A doggy-friendly screening of the film is on Saturday 7 April, see www.hydeparkpicturehouse.co.uk for details
