When young Dorothy and her dog, Toto are swept away from her home in Kansas by a tornado, she awakens in the magical, fantastical world of Oz. She sets off towards the Emerald City, in order to ask the wonderful Wizard of Oz to help her get back home. Aided by three charming friends - Scarecrow, Tin Man and the cowardly Lion, who all have their own reasons for visiting the wizard, they are pursued by the Wicked Witch of the West who wants the ruby slippers that Dorothy is wearing for herself. A stunning musical that is still charming audiences nearly 90 years on.

These FREE school screenings are in partnership with Into Film, a film education charity that puts film at the heart of the educational and personal development of children and young people aged 5-19 across the UK.
