Based on a true story which saw the first ever Spanish police report refer to demonic possession, Veronica is Spain’s answer to The Conjuring. Following the death of her father, Veronica is left to look after her younger siblings while her mother works long hours at a local bar. Grieving for her father, she decides to try and contact him through an ouija board but following the session she begins to feel a malevolent presence and fears for the safety of her brothers and sisters. A school nun advises her that she has become the target of evil spirits and that she must sever the connection with them before it is too late.
