Yorkshire Shorts in Hull

Sept 23rd Union Mash Up, Hull, Pay What You Decide

We’re working in partnership with Hull Independent Cinema to bring the best short films to Hull every month. For September we’re screening a handpicked selection of our favourite Yorkshire short films from the Leeds International Film Festival back catalogue. The programme is a fantastic mix of drama and animation including last year’s award winner, Cushy, made with prisoners at HMP Doncaster, Crow which features recordings of Yorkshire born poet Ted Hughes, and Hull filmed coming-of-age drama Kiss.

Films in the programme:

Rare (Dir. Jim Morgan)

Crow (Dir. Yoav Segal)

Cushy (Dir. Fliss Buckles, Cat jones)

The Last Smallholder (Dir. Franics Lee)

Kiss (Dir. Cathy Brady)

I Come From… (Dir. Alex Ramseyer-Bache)

Rocket Boy Roger (Dir. Russ Holliss)
