Our first selection of BAFTA-qualifying shorts interrogate the structures we create for ourselves, and those that are created by others. Not only the physical buildings that mark our daily lives, as in the beautiful documentary Hanging On. But also the internal, mental rules and rituals, that either support and protect us, or control our actions, as in the raw and uncompromising film Jamie, or Northern Irish dark comedy An Irish Goodbye. Whatever the case, there remains a mysterious, unknowable architecture of creativity in which this wonderful selection of stories resides.

This short film programme contains adult themes, scenes of suicide, eating disorders and bloody violence.
