Lazy and grumpy wombat, Maggie Diggins, unintentionally becomes the city's superhero after she begrudgingly saves a young sugar glider from certain doom. Discovering her new-found celebrity status gives her access to police files, she becomes determined to uncover the truth about a construction accident that resulted in the loss of her partner and soulmate.
The first film set Sanctuary City (followed by Daisy Quokka) is funny, poignant and full of action with a story about love, loss, resilience, heroism and forgiveness.
