The ultimate voyage through space and time, acclaimed Austrian filmmaker Johann Lurf’s ★ is an extraordinary montage film composed of stars and the universe as portrayed in over 550 films from the birth of cinema to the present day, from Georges Méliès to Marvel Studios.
These stellar instances with their sound intact - ambient hums, orchestral scores, dramatic explanations, dreamy speculation - are projections of our own wonderment with outer space. The full running time is 99 minutes or drop in for a few minutes of cinematic star-gazing. No need to book.
