Showcasing a series of striking and rarely seen images by Magnum photographers documenting the production of six unforgettable works of world cinema (all screening at LIFF 2017), this exhibition will provide a fascinating insight into the work of some of the most celebrated filmmakers, including Andrei Tarkovsky, Pier Paolo Pasolini and Abbas Kiarostami. The films screening to accompany the exhibition are: AparajitoThe Gospel According to St. MatthewOrphéeStalkerTaste of Cherry, and Zabriskie Point. The exhibition is in the Film Festival Bar at Leeds Town Hall from 1st to 16th November and open from 5pm to 9pm during weekdays, noon to 9pm at weekends.
