Once more we’ve been round the globe (virtually of course) to bring you the finest and most diverse animated short films, for our ever popular World Animation Competition. In this second programme you will find films from Canada, Russia, Czech Republic, Spain and two bizarre new films from Belgium. One of these is the brilliant Easter Eggs, a tale of two misfit friends directed by Nicolas Keppens, which popped up at Berlinale and Fantoche this year. This plays alongside Dries Bogaert’s Dissolution, an oddly sublime study of disobedience and consequences.

This short film programme contains adult themes, scenes of emotional abuse, and bereavement.
