After we got to press with our printed guide, there are often some new films added to the programme and a very small number of unexpected changes we have to make, for example to screening times or venues. This page will feature an up-to-date list of any additions and changes we make to the LIFF 2019 programme.

Q&A change: Forman vs Forman

Director Helena Třeštíková will be at the screening of Forman vs Forman on Saturday 16 November to participate in a Q&A after the film. More details here.

Screening changes: René

The screening of René scheduled for Friday 15 November at 7pm has changed to Monday 18 November at 6:30pm. The venue has also changed and the film will now be screened in Leeds Town Hall’s Albert Room. The Q&A scheduled to take place following René has now been moved to follow the screening of Forman vs Forman on Saturday 16 November, 1pm. More details here

The second screening of Mallory on 18 November is cancelled. More details here.

Additional screening: The Personal History of David Copperfield

New film addition: The Personal History of David Copperfield

Armando Iannucci's highly-entertaining take on the Dickens classic screens on 16 November at Leeds Town Hall. More details here.

New film addition: The Irishman

Martin Scorsese's epic crime saga is a major new addition for LIFF 2019, screening on 7 November at Leeds Town Hall. More details here.

New film addition: Aquarela

The spectacular Aquarela takes audiences on a deeply cinematic journey through the transformative beauty and raw power of water. Screening on 19 and 21 November at Leeds Town Hall. More details here.

New film addition: Promare

The Japanese anime epic Promare is a new addition to the LIFF 2019 programme, screening on 17 November at Leeds Town Hall. More details here.

New industry opportunity addition: 1-2-1 Filmmaker Surgery with BFI Network

LIFF 2019 hosts BFI Network for 1-2-1 filmmaker surgeries at Leeds Town Hall on 15th November. More details here.

New industry course additions: ScreenSkills Training for Filmmakers

LIFF 2019 hosts two new courses for people working in the film industry created by TaylorKerek with support from ScreenSkills, Introduction to Leadership for Filmmakers and Marketing Via Social Media For Film & Filmmakers. More details here.

Change to venue: Kes Reimagined

The venue for Kes Reimagined has changed to Vue in The Light. The screening date, time and ticket prices - 7 November at 6.30pm, £7/£6 - remain the same.

Change to date and time: One Last Deal

The first screening of One Last Deal, scheduled for 7 November at 6.30pm, has changed to 17 November at 11am - the venue remains the same, Vue in The Light. There is no change to the other screening of One Last Deal on 10 November.

Cancellation: second screening of Mad Max: Fury Road

The screening of Mad Max: Fury Road on 16 November is cancelled. The screening on 15th November is still going ahead.
