Renting films on Leeds Film Player

The 2021 Independent Directions Film Festival (INDIs) screening programme will be presented entirely on our new streaming platform Leeds Film Player. The majority of films will be available for the duration of the festival from 29 March - 30 April although some may have shorter screening windows - please check individual films for availability. The Player can be accessed here and films can be rented from 25 March to watch from 29 March. Once purchased you have 30 days to watch the film (or until it expires) and you have 48 hours to finish watching once you have started.

Feature films on the Player will cost £5 to rent, short film programmes and some other content is free. There will also be a discounted pass for renting multiple films. You will need to set up an account on the Player to be able to rent films.

Most of the films available on the Player can be rented at any time during INDIs 2021, with a small number of exceptions. Some of the films will have a maximum number of rentals available.

Any technical issues or account queries should be sent to leeds.film@leeds.gov.uk
