Development and Communications Officer

Full-time contract to 31 March 2023, grade C1 (£22,571.00 to £24,920.00), application deadline 24 May.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Leeds Film team and work on Leeds International Film Festival (LIFF) and our year-round programmes and projects. The role coordinates and delivers audience development and communications for LIFF and year-round activities presented or supported by LIFF, with a focus on new, young and diverse audiences. Responsibilities include devising and implementing the audience development plan, developing marketing partnerships, creating and delivering marketing campaigns, and coordinating online content and engagement. The post is on a fixed term contract to 31 March 2023, with continuation subject to funding, and based at Carriageworks in Leeds city centre, alongside home-working.

Venue and Zone Coordinators

Casual pool role, grade B3 (£10.60 per hour), application deadline 9 June.

You can be part of the venue and zone teams who help deliver some of the leading festivals in Leeds including: the UK’s largest annual arts and light festival Light Night Leeds (13-14 October 2022); the Oscar and BAFTA-qualifying Leeds International Film Festival (3-17 November 2022); and the UK’s largest film festival for children and families, Leeds Young Film Festival (Easter 2023). The role coordinates screening or event activities, audiences and volunteers across individual venue or zone areas for festivals: venues include cinemas like Vue at The Light Leeds and Everyman Leeds, and zones include areas of arts activities like Millennium Square and Victoria Leeds.
