We're delighted to be working with Sony Home Entertainment, to give away two bundles of newly released Blu-rays from The Criterion Collection's exceptional series of classic and contemporary cinema each month.
January's releases include:
Rolling Thunder Revue: A Bob Dylan Story (2019) - Go behind the scenes of the legendary Rolling Thunder Revue tour comprising of Bob Dylan and a band of troubadours - including luminaries such as Joan Baez, Allen Ginsberg, and Joni Mitchell. Directed by Martin Scorsese, blending behind-the-scenes and archival footage, interviews, and some narrative mischief!
The Tin Drum (1979) - Volker Schlöndorff’s visionary adaptation of Nobel laureate Günter Grass’s acclaimed novel, characterized by surreal imagery, arresting eroticism, and clear-eyed satire; which earned the Palme d’Or at Cannes and the Academy Award for best foreign-language film.
Investigation of a Citizen Above Suspicion (1970) - Both a compelling character study and a disturbing commentary on the draconian government crackdowns in Italy in the late 1960s and early ’70s, Elio Petri’s kinetic portrait of surreal bureaucracy is a perversely pleasurable rendering of controlled chaos, in this Oscar-winning thriller.
For a chance to win January's new releases, answer the following question: Which British rock band were the subject of Martin Scorsese's 2008 concert film Shine a Light?
