Leeds Young Film Is Working With Bradford 2025
LYFF is delighted to be part of Bradford Digital Creatives project as part of Bradford 2025.
We'll be bringing immersive VR Cinema experiences to schools across Bradford! Our programme is designed to inspire children and young people, and introduce them to the expansive, creative opportunities within the screen industries.
Bradford Digital Creatives is a project inviting young people to share stories about their pasts, their presents and their futures in a variety of artforms – guided by workshops with local and international digital artists. More than 1,200 teenagers from will take part in the pilot project, working with artforms including audio storytelling, 360º video, games design and projection mapping. It will culminate in a festival premiering the new artworks, due to take place in summer 2025.
The project is delivered by Born in Bradford and the National Science and Media Museum as part of the Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture programme. It is funded and supported by Bradford 2025, Born in Bradford, Bradford Council and Arts Council England.
