It’s time to see who is Best in Show, both on screen and on the Square, as we present a special screening of Christopher Guest’s Best In Show, and host our own dog competition!
Grab your lead, give your pup a groom and whatever you do don’t forget their favourite Busy Bee toy. Join us on Millenium Square to watch Christopher Guest’s hilarious mockumentary on the world of competitive dog competitions and join in as we host our own. Tensions rise and personalities clash in the lead up to the prestigious Mayflower Kennel Club Dog Show, as handlers and hounds alike are put to the test and only one dog can take home Best in Show. With a cast of unforgettable characters including Jennifer Coolidge, Catherine O’Hara and Eugene Levy, and some of the most quotable lines in comedy, Best in Show is a loving look at pet obsession and human absurdity.
This screening is Bring Your Own Dog and we’ll be hosting our own "Best in Show" competition at the event. Anyone is welcome to attend, and there will be a dedicated seating area for those who prefer not to be around dogs. Dog tickets are free but limited, and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note, there is a limit of one dog per adult.
Please see our FAQs about the event and how to enter the competition if you are bringing your dog. An automated email will be sent with more information when purchasing a ticket.
Please note: Dogs must be over 6 months old, on a fixed lead, and comfortable in busy environments. You’ll receive an email with full guidance and how to enter the competition after booking. All dogs will wear a coloured badge indicating their comfort level with interaction. Water stations and quiet zones will be available.
