Experience the exquisite concert film of the Harlem Cultural Festival in style on the big screen at Millennium Square featuring many of the best soul and funk artists of all time.

Over six Sundays during the summer of 1969, the people of Harlem could walk into their local park and see incredible live performances by some of the greatest musical artists of the Twentieth Century. Stevie Wonder, Mahalia Jackson, The Staples Singers, Nina Simone, BB King, Sly and the Family Stone. Incredibly, this footage was neglected for 50 years until Questlove triumphantly returned it to audiences, astutely enlightening the revolutionary context at the height of the civil rights movement a year on from the assassination of Martin Luther King.
