One of the most iconic monster movies, which sees an epic faceoff between the mighty Godzilla and Mothra. It is not to be missed on this rare big screen outing.

After a typhoon washes the egg of the insect-god monster Mothra ashore in Japan, two businessmen rush to exploit it. Meanwhile, Godzilla, also awakened by the storm, begins a rampage through Nagoya and Yokkaichi. Desperate, the public turns to Mothra for help in stopping the King of the Monsters.

Directed by Ishirō Honda and with a powerful score by Akira Ifukube, Mothra vs. Godzilla is widely regarded as one of the best Godzilla films. With astonishing special effects and sharp commentary on post-war capitalism, it’s a gripping and entertaining watch not to be missed on the big screen.

'If you're a newcomer to Godzilla movies, Mothra vs. Godzilla is a great place to start.' — Kevin L. Lee, Film Inquiry
