INDIs Film Festival
INDIs Film Fest is the only film festival in the North of England dedicated to emerging creatives aged 16 - 25 interested in cinema, filmmaking and the screen industries.
The INDIs Film Fest returns on 4 & 5 March 2025 with a fresh new programme designed to you explore film and cinema while bringing you closer to a career in the screen industries.
We've partnered with Screen Yorkshire for two full days of talks, panels and workshops tailored to help you take your first steps into the screen industries. Learn essential skills, gain valuable insights, and hear practical advice from filmmakers and industry professionals. The event, taking place at Carriageworks Theatre in Leeds, will also feature a marketplace showcasing key organisations that are instrumental to working in film in Yorkshire.
Gain hands-on experience in helping your film or content reach its audience. Learn how to present yourself and your work, develop an effective distribution strategy, and market your projects successfully. You’ll also receive expert guidance on navigating the world of film festivals from professionals who live and breathe this industry.
Day passes will be available to purchase from January 2024. The full festival programme including films and VR events will also be announced closer to the event.
